Hourly Chime in Background App Reviews

Im hard of hearing. I need to be alerted each hour for 8 hour each day. I turn Hourly Chime to ON, Alert Popup to Chime with Popup and Alert Time checked hours needed. Turn Ring/Silent Switch to OFF and wait for the selected Vibrate and Popup.

Stops working after a few hours. Also doesnt chime if other apps running.

I want my money back.

I officially love this program now that I got it to work again. It has to be turned on in the iPhones Settings/Notifications menus. An update so 6 chimes will sound at 6 oclock would be nice. Its a great app anyhow!

This was my favorite app before it stopped working. Since downloading iOS5, the alarm no longer chimes on my iPod touch. I deleted it and reinstalled thinking that would solve the problem, but it didnt. I really did love the app when it worked and I miss it.

Purpose of a cuckoo clock is to chime the hour. This poor app chime four times no matter the hour. I wasted 99 cents on this thing. The name of the app is a misleader.

If you added the ability to use your own chime and the ability to chose unique chimes for each hour i.e., noon, etc. Id give it 5 stars.

This works exactly as advertised, running on my iPhone 5 - love it. While keeping it simple is clearly the goal, i would really appreciate the option of choosing from the exisiting ringtones on my phone. Am I alone on this one?

Doesnt work under iOS 8. Save your money.

I expected app to chime at 1pm, 2 at 2pm etc. not worth the money

iPhone 3GS 32G. This chime is great to me. I enjoyed the pleasant voice and sound it gives time every hour or however you I like. Very bluntly, you will enjoy it, then some apps I heard sound like it just came from a cigarette break.

Doesnt do much; doesnt come on if music or any other app is playing. Kinda useless generally.

App simply doesn’t do the one thing its supposed to do. Save yourself a buck.

Ive used this app for years, never had an issue with it. All I wanted was a simple app that works in the background, make a quick Ding noise at the top of every hour. This app does that beautifully. I could not ask for more, nor do I want more. Thanks for making this.

I have a 5 phone. This app simply does not work. Sorry I wasted $1 on this thing. It needs to be fixed, or deleted from the App Store. Come on Apple!!!

Love this app! Dont know why my brain needs it, but it loves this! -- one thing -- add an option to toggle the vibration-- every hour I think I have a new text -- turns out, its a new hour!! Add new sounds!!

Does not work on my iphone 4s

This app has been great. However, ever since updating to iOS 9, the chime doesnt sound off for every hour. I have it set for every hour; it only goes off here and there. So you know, I am running iOS 9.0.2.
